Market Development Engineer

Arrow Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Market Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IPE (Interconnect, Passive Electromechanical components) business unit, you will be responsible for developing and executing market strategies to drive growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Specialize in key market segments and technologies, conducting business strategy activities to include total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
- Own the go-to-market strategy plan for assigned market/business segment, collaborating with the BU on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities.
- Work with supplier, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
- Create, gain approvals for, and execute comprehensive products and service offers, contributing to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development.
- Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within the assigned market, contributing to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed to drive increased market share and visibility.
- Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities, building and managing influential relationships with key suppliers.
- Experience in electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing or Product management - must have.
- Experience in IPE - must have.
- Experience in engineering and business strategy - market customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis) - must have.
- Strong sales skills, full driving license, and readiness for business travel - must have.
- English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken, Spanish language skills (native or C1).
- Expertise in engaging with executive-level stakeholders, track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in business-to-business industry.
