Job Title: Head of B2B Business Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our B2B Business Development efforts. As the Head of B2B Business Development, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, identifying new revenue streams, and developing and executing business plans to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, coach, and lead a team of Developer Relations experts to drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve company goals, including identifying new revenue streams and strategic partnerships.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote business growth and customer engagement.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in technical roles, including technical program management, software engineering, partner engineering, developer advocacy, and technical writing.
  • 5+ years of experience leading a technical group or DevRel team.
  • 5+ years of experience developing in at least one of Web, Mobile, Desktop, Backend, or Games development environments.
  • Deep expertise in developer advocacy and community engagement.
  • Proficiency in written and oral communications, with a strong affinity for technical writing and a passion for creating content that inspires developers to adopt our products.
  • Ability to set a strong vision for the team and follow through to execution.
  • Change management and project management experience, or experience working to coordinate activities with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to lead execution across teams and influence across organizations.
  • Ability to establish relationships and build rapport to inform decision-making across the company.
  • Expertise in building strong relationships with technical and non-technical audiences, and the ability to leverage creative thinking and efficient processes to improve Developer Experience.
  • Customer-driven mentality, with a drive to go above and beyond to ensure our customers are successful.
  • Experience growing developer relations functions.
  • Experience writing SDKs, Client Libraries, or other Developer Tools.
  • Polyglot engineer with broad knowledge of diverse development environments.
  • Active engagement with a developer community.
