Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to lead the commercial strategy for our Digital Image product group in Spain and Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing sales, profit, brand awareness, and purchase consideration in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Conduct rigorous analysis of the market, competitors, consumers, and sales performance for the Digital Image product group.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Set yearly budgets and forecasts for the sales and brand activation teams, ensuring alignment with our Pan-European strategy.
- Local Marketing Strategy: Create and coordinate a local marketing strategy to maximize both sell-out and demand creation, leveraging data-driven insights to adapt strategies that fit the local market.
- Channel Strategy and Distribution Partners: Develop and agree with sales on channel strategy and distribution partners, planning and coordinating ranging and promotions across accounts to maximize sell-out while managing investment levels.
- Promotion Analysis and Performance Review: Review implementation of promotions and analyze performance against competitor activities, ensuring optimal commercial investment.
- Monthly Forecasting and Reporting: Manage the monthly forecasting process, including product and account-wise quantities, pricing, and commercial investment, and carry out rigorous monthly reporting on product group performance.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the product lifecycle, including new launches and end-of-life product transitions, ensuring seamless commercial execution.
- Pricing and Commercial Investment: Implement pricing conditions and commercial investment strategies, including Sell-Out Allowances and Stock Compensation.
- Accrual and Balance Management: Check accrual situation and status of balance versus spend, aged activities, etc.
- Stakeholder Management: Guide, inform, and motivate sales teams, other internal and external stakeholders on the product Unique Selling Proposition and strategy.
- Retail Presence: Ensure the in-store and online retail presence is best-in-class, liaising with trade marketing teams to review online and offline assets.
- Events and Customer Engagement: Inform and excite customers and other stakeholders about the category in multiple events.
Requirements
- University Degree: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Commercial Experience: Significant experience in a similar position, preferably in photography or consumer electronics.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish spoken and written, with excellent knowledge of English spoken and written.
- Additional Skills: Ambitious, self-motivated, and highly professional, with a passion for technology.
