About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative Team Lead to join our Sales team for the Growth Markets at TravelPerk. As a Sales Development Representative Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) by providing leadership, guidance, and support to a team of up to 10 SDRs in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of up to 10 outbound Sales Development Representatives with full responsibility over their performance, motivation, and career development.
  2. Develop and execute success strategies for building pipeline in the Growth region, where we work on growing TravelPerk's emerging markets around the globe.
  3. Work closely with the SDR Manager to develop and execute success strategies for building pipeline in the Growth region.
  4. Conduct weekly 121s with the team to ensure continued success in target achievement.
  5. Motivate the team and ensure high performance.
  6. Coach and mentor a world-class cross-functional team.
  7. Have a strong focus on constant skill development of the sales team.
  8. Identify individual and team training needs.
  9. Onboard and train new SDRs.
  10. Have an in-depth and detailed understanding of TravelPerk products to confidently provide mentorship for your Inside Sales team.
  11. Work in partnership with other SDR Team Leads, Managers, and internal stakeholders to develop educational material, including presentations, sales scripts, and relevant product/feature updates.
  12. Design training courses using gamification, role-playing activities, pitch simulation, and video.

Requirements:

  1. Significant experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within SaaS or tech-related industry, and with a proven track record of success.
  2. Previous experience in a leadership or management role.
  3. Strong understanding of the sales development process, from lead generation to opportunity creation.
  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate people.
  5. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  6. Very creative and solution-driven attitude.
  7. Hands-on experience creating presentations (e.g. videos or slides).
  8. Ability to design effective training programs.
  9. Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics.
  10. Experience in adapting your sales outreach to different cultures.
  11. Fluent business level English language required with Italian or an Eastern European language a plus.
