About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant to join our team at OpenText. As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving the delivery of advanced IT solutions, making a profound impact on our clients' operational efficiency and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ITSM strategies that align with client business objectives, ensuring seamless integration and optimizing IT infrastructure.
  • Engage with state-of-the-art technologies and contribute to innovative ITSM solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale ITSM solutions, such as OpenText SMAX, ServiceNow ITSM, Atlassian Jira Service Management, and others.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve ITSM solutions and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in IT service management or related fields, with expertise in ITIL frameworks and best practices.
  • Programming languages: Java, Python, C++.
  • Product experience: Minimum 2 years in large-scale implementations of ITSM solutions.
  • Certifications (Preferred): ITIL 4, COBIT 5, TOGAF 9, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Soft skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership abilities to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Language proficiency: Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German or French is advantageous.
