Carhartt Work In Progress is a family-owned business group that has been a part of the European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt since the early 1990s. Our company has developed its own collections based on workwear originals, aiming to continuously progress and evolve while maintaining its origins.

As a dynamic and growing business, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager at our Carhartt WIP Store Madrid. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the management and daily operation of the store, ensuring sales plans are achieved, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the store's daily operations and management
  • Deputise for the Store Manager in their absence
  • Implement company procedures and directives
  • Drive sales growth by mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
  • Support the store team in product knowledge and customer service
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team
  • Maintain the store's visual merchandising standards and ensure deliveries are processed efficiently
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to supervise and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer service focus
  • Good IT skills and fluency in Spanish, with good English skills advantageous
  • Enthusiasm for the fashion industry
