About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Technical Director to join our Localization Engineering team at Reconocida Empresa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring software engineers, designing and developing tools and game technology to enable localization and internationalization of games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor software engineers to ensure high-quality code and efficient development processes
  • Design and develop tools and game technology to support localization and internationalization of games
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements and prototypes into technical solutions
  • Maintain and refactor legacy code to ensure optimal performance and extensibility
  • Design the architecture of new software packages and improve our technology base and documentation
Requirements
  • University degree in Software Engineering or equivalent academic background
  • 8+ years of professional experience designing and developing AAA games or complex software solutions
  • Highly skilled in C++ and C# development, with a focus on performance and code quality
  • Passion for developing, mentoring, and leading others, with experience in people management
  • Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or Frostbite is a plus
  • Strong debugging skills and fluency in reading complex code
  • Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong teamwork spirit and passion for solving complex problems
