About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Analyst to join our team at Nippon Gases UK & Ireland. As a key member of our Custom Business Applications team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and improving our existing web applications, managing issues and enhancement requests from business users, and setting priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and improve existing web applications to meet business needs.
  • Manage issues and enhancement requests from business users, set priorities, and create functional documents to share with the development team.
  • Lead projects to create or extend custom web applications for different regions in Europe, coordinating activities with other IT teams and external technical partners.
  • Review code quality and provide feedback to ensure high-quality applications.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
  • Native Spanish language proficiency.
  • Italian language knowledge is a plus.
  • At least 5-8 years of IT and business work experience in similar functions.

Desirable Skills:

  • Object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework).

  • Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and ability to handle difficult customers.
  • Problem-solving/support-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deal with different stakeholders/teams.
