Position Overview:

Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Managers (KAM) across Europe (indirect management) within the Healthcare sector.

Formulate and implement strategies for significant Private and Public clients, pinpoint opportunities, and establish the team's focus areas.

Build relationships with key stakeholders in private organizations, as well as with public entities and healthcare facilities.

In this role, you will ensure that the KAM team in Europe is positioned to:

Establish the division as a preferred and strategic collaborator.

Drive growth, meet both quantitative and qualitative targets set for each Segment and client.

Negotiate annual contracts, oversee pre/per/post tender/contract activities, and manage their execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and prioritize strategic opportunities, communicating needs to the VP of Commercial Excellence and the broader division regarding the public and private hospital sectors. Recommend targeting strategies for monitored large accounts. Collaborate closely with AVPs and the VP of Marketing to ensure cross-functional alignment. Lead the governance team responsible for developing the Key Account Strategy. Ensure the design and execution of the Public and Private commercial policy for the entire healthcare organization, in partnership with the Pricing, Legal, Marketing, and Finance teams. Establish and track the quantitative and qualitative objectives for Key Accounts in alignment with overall goals. Support the Key Account Managers by providing coaching and ensuring they have the necessary tools, training, and resources. Organize and facilitate meetings such as account plan reviews, conversion tracking, product launches, and other essential cross-functional interactions. Assist each Key Account Manager in Europe with negotiation preparation and execution. Adhere to budgetary commitments outlined in commercial policies and escalate decision-making as necessary to capture market opportunities. Actively engage in Sales Excellence Department meetings to ensure seamless coordination with other teams. Ensure compliance with legal regulations. Cultivate a network with key stakeholders (institutional and strategic purchasing decision-makers) and foster high-level partnerships.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing sales teams. Strong leadership, cross-functional management, and project coordination skills. Ability to adapt, work autonomously, and anticipate needs. Strategic mindset: leading the development of the healthcare non-clinical strategy. Exceptional ability to build high-level connections both internally and externally. Experience collaborating with various organizational leaders; comfortable within a matrix structure. Strong communication skills: capable of delivering strategic presentations to senior audiences. Effective decision-making skills and the ability to navigate complexity in uncertain environments. Results-oriented with a focus on commercial success, translating strategy into sales outcomes. Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of growth and market share expansion.
