Job Title: Renewable Energy Technical Specialist

EDP Energias de Portugal S.A. is a global leader in the renewable energy sector, and we are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Technical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project development team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and cooperation with our M&A teams for the analysis of business opportunities and initiatives worldwide, related to wind farm, PV plant, and BESS projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical analysis of available project documents
  • Execute project site visits and report
  • Project assessment
  • Permits and licenses technical assessment
  • WTG and PV technology assessment
  • Electrical infrastructures design assessment
  • Construction assessment
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited educational institution
  • 3-6 years combined of technical/engineering and construction management experience in the renewables energy industry
  • Specific knowledge of Solar PV and Wind design practices and BOP-BOS engineering
  • Knowledge of contracting Engineering Services and EPC's regarding renewable energy projects
  • Proficient knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite
