Job Description

Edp Renovaveis Servicios Financieros Sa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Renewable Energy Technical Specialist. This role will be responsible for providing technical support and cooperation with the M&A teams for the analysis of business opportunities and initiatives worldwide, related to wind farm, PV plant, and BESS projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define and execute technical due diligence assessments for projects at various stages of development and operation.
  • Collaborate with the transversal engineering team to support M&A and Origination teams globally in analyzing opportunities for PV, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
  • Manage the initial engineering and design phase of projects in all regions where EDPR operates, ensuring transversal coordination across geographies and technologies.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited educational institution.
  • 3-6 years combined of technical/engineering and construction management experience in the renewables energy industry.
  • Specific knowledge of Solar PV and Wind design practices and BOP-BOS engineering.
  • Knowledge of contracting Engineering Services and EPC's regarding renewable energy projects.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy infrastructures costs.
  • Proficient knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite.
Language and Culture

Spanish is the primary language required, with other languages being a plus.
