About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to support our Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day legal support to the region, advising on corporate and operationally relevant matters, and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with suppliers and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal support to the MENA region, including drafting and revising key commercial contracts, terms and conditions, and similar legal documents.
  • Advise on general legal matters related to the MENA region, including legislation and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Support business teams and upper management in their negotiations and provide guidance on commercial and operational matters.
  • Coordinate and prioritize work with external legal advisors and prepare/revise internal templates, guides, and similar knowledge management key documents.
  • Take responsibility for document management and participate in ongoing compliance functions as required.
Requirements
  • Be a barred/practising lawyer with 4+ years of PQE in the legal field (corporate or law firm).
  • Have academic legal training in a MENA country or 2+ PQE working with the region.
  • Speak fluent English and Arabic, with a command of legal English; fluency in another language is a plus.
  • Have an excellent academic record or experience in top-notch companies or top-tier law firms.
  • Possess strong technical skills and be an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work.
