Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at Maersk. As a Senior Legal Advisor, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and support to our business units, ensuring that our operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support to our business units, including contract review and negotiation, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to minimize risks and maximize opportunities for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders and other legal professionals, to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into business decisions.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of external lawyers and consultants, as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, and provide guidance to the business on how to comply.

Requirements:

  • Spanish qualified lawyer with a university degree and a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proven track record of providing legal advice and support to business units, with a strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
