Job Description

As a key member of the AbbVie team, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Unit Manager to lead the strategic development and tactical implementation of our rheumatology business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing commercial brand strategies, and managing customer and commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute commercial brand strategies to drive business growth and maximize brand sales and margin.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of brand strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them.
  • Manage and optimize resource utilization to ensure efficient use of resources and maximize business results.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase brand sales and margin.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience in a marketing and sales leadership position within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing commercial brand strategies and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business data and develop strategic plans to drive business growth.
