About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled User Researcher to join our team at Alibaba Group. As a User Researcher for AliExpress Business Line, you will play a critical role in conducting customer insight research to support company operations, product development, and strategy formulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct in-depth research to understand the needs and behaviors of overseas customers of AliExpress Business Line, identifying pain points and potential demands.
  2. Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze research findings and develop actionable insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and business operations.
  3. Develop and implement research methodologies to gather data on user behavior, preferences, and attitudes, using a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into business decision-making, driving innovation and growth.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging research methods, applying this knowledge to improve research design and execution.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics, Information Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or related fields.
  2. At least 5 years of research experience, with a proven track record of conducting user research in an internet research, retail brand research, or market consumer research firm.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  5. Proficiency in Spanish is a must.
