Role Overview
As a key member of the Application Management Services (AMS) team, the SAP HCM Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by: Delivering expert application support through insightful consultancy, guidance, and relevant technical activities. Managing support tickets following comprehensive functional analysis and receiving direction on technical implementation. Producing clean, maintainable code and customizations that adhere to Alight's best practices. Implementing HRSP effectively. Conducting necessary system tests with either provided or self-created test data to ensure that applications and developments align with specified requirements. Documenting both technical and functional aspects of issues addressed. Prioritizing personal daily tasks and assigned tickets while ensuring deadlines are consistently met, along with regular status updates to the AMS Cluster Lead. Maintaining effective communication channels both internally and externally, providing updates on status, resolutions, and root causes of issues. Gaining a solid understanding of HR processes and the SAP HR architecture.Qualifications Required:
Proven experience in SAP HCM. Extensive configuration skills in SAP HCM & Payroll. Hands-on experience with German Payroll, including schemas, PCRs, wage type creation, and basic pay configuration. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on Business or Technical fields, or equivalent experience. A strong desire to learn new technologies rapidly. A commitment to delivering high-quality support in Human Resources. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while consistently meeting quality standards. A service-oriented mindset with a strong client focus and accountability. Dedication to the customer, team, and project objectives. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is advantageous. A commitment to confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.What We Provide:

Design and implement high-quality solutions through system configuration that meet business needs. Ability to configure HCM modules related to HR, specifically Payroll (evaluations & schemas). Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for one or more accounts, coordinating tasks and providing technical support to fellow consultants. Lead HR Services for SAP Payroll Management, focusing on development, defect identification, and resolution. Analyze payroll and time schemas to determine root causes and solutions for discrepancies. Address complex issues related to overtime, social security calculations, legal reporting, allowances, sickness, taxes, postings, payslips, and other specific configurations for German payroll. Participate in SAP HR projects as an integral member of a cross-functional team to enhance HR Services delivery. Ensure the integrity of time and attendance data. Troubleshoot and resolve HCM & Payroll issues for both internal and external clients, updating ticketing systems promptly and accurately.#LI-Remote
