Project Manager in Strategic Projects Office

- Contribute to initiatives aimed at evaluating and enhancing the impact of the IJC's research beyond academia by:
- Applying the principles of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and Open Science to foster inclusivity, sustainability, transparency, and community engagement.
- Aligning research evaluation practices with international benchmarks and conducting regular internal and external assessments of the Institute's impact.
- Improving the impact sections of competitive proposals and aiding in their execution, including communication, dissemination, and exploitation strategies.
- Offering training and support to researchers on how to assess and enhance the impact of their work beyond academic circles.
- Formulating proposals and projects deemed strategic by the Institute due to their potential impact.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sociology or a related social science discipline; a background in Life Sciences is also acceptable. A PhD will be considered an advantage.
- A minimum of three years of experience in research or research support, with experience in biomedical research being a plus.
- Proficiency in grant writing and proposal development.
- Experience with Citizen Science initiatives, patient engagement, and/or science communication is particularly valuable.
- Familiarity with impact assessment methodologies and metrics is a plus.
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English, with exceptional communication skills.
- Proficient in Office 365; advanced skills in Excel and Power BI are advantageous.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively and inclusively with others to achieve common objectives.
