About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Barcelona. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients in French, Dutch, or German.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Handle first-line technical support requests via phone, email, and tickets.
  2. Assist new customers with technical setup of their accounts.
  3. Troubleshoot and investigate technical issues related to account setup, transaction statuses, and errors.
  4. Ensure continuity of merchant business by responding quickly and correctly.
  5. Provide additional product information.
  6. Maintain strong customer relationships.
  7. Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to streamline processes and deliver seamless customer service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Native-level proficiency in French, Dutch, or German language (both spoken and written).
  2. Good knowledge of English to effectively communicate with colleagues and handle customer interactions.
  3. 1-2 years of work experience in technical support/customer service in a technical environment.
  4. Tech-savvy: familiar with HTML, SQL, logs, Java, web design, coding, programming, etc.
  5. A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with customers and provide accurate information.
  7. Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  8. Proficiency in using computer systems and familiarity with different software applications.
  9. Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate customer needs.
