About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our valued customers, ensuring their success with our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and web, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring timely resolution of support cases.
- Meet enhanced response SLAs for customers who purchase our Platinum Support Offering, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Development, to resolve critical issues and improve product quality.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and knowledge base articles, to support customer success.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest product releases, bug cycles, and security patches, ensuring expertise in our products and services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical support, with a strong background in network security and routing/switching.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with TCP/IP, routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP), and security protocols (IPSEC, SSL-VPN, NAT, GRE).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
