About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Amazon's Extra Large (AMXL) team as an Operations Center Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing significant operational and service growth across our European operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Metrics and Performance Management: Create and implement metrics and performance dashboards to measure carrier health and potential.
  2. Root Cause Analysis: Drive root cause analysis to identify and resolve operational issues.
  3. Business Opportunity Identification: Analyze and identify potential business opportunities to drive growth and improvement.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to implement project and program requirements.
  5. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion and delivery.
  6. Communication and Presentation: Communicate effectively at all levels, presenting information professionally and concisely with supporting data.
  7. Team Supervision: Supervise a team of data analysts to ensure effective delivery of projects and tasks.
About the Team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) is a specialist fulfillment center that manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfillment to delivery and returns. Our team is dedicated to providing an extra level of customer care, including unpacking, assembling, and installing large items, and taking away old items where needed.

Requirements
  1. Team Management Experience: Proven experience in team management, with a focus on leadership and development.
  2. Program or Project Management Experience: Experience in program or project management, with a focus on delivering cross-functional projects.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams to drive business outcomes.
  4. Supply Chain Experience: Experience in supply chain management, with a focus on logistics and operations.
  5. Data Analysis and Metrics: Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Process Implementation: Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
  2. Data Management: Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries.
