Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager Intermodal to join our team at VTG Rail Europe GmbH. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with existing and new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support existing customers and identify new business opportunities in the intermodal transport sector.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and events to promote our products and services.
  • Manage CRM tool to track customer interactions and sales performance.

Requirements:

  • Completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by a degree in business administration or economics.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally in the field of logistics and railway business.
  • Strong customer orientation, sales affinity, and persuasiveness ability.
  • Basic knowledge of intermodal logistics and intermodal flows of semi-trailers, containers, and swap bodies.
  • Analytical and strategic work as well as entrepreneurial skills.
  • Agile mindset and independent way of working.
  • Good presentation, moderation, and communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Experience in working with CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Spain and Portugal.
