About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Owner to join our team at Roche. As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering one of our new products, working closely with our data and insights platform and healthcare ecosystem.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead Sprint plannings with the development team to ensure timely and successful delivery of product features.
  • Collaborate with the development team to refine product requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support the Business Product Manager in processing customer requests and prioritizing the discovery backlog.
  • Communicate top priority features and enablers with the development team to elicit early feedback and preparedness for the next product iteration.
  • Ensure that the prepared backlog consists of items that maximize value while minimizing cost, requiring scoping correctly the features with input from architecture, security, development, and UX concerns.
  • Learn and fully understand all functionalities of the product to provide expert guidance and support.

Requirements

  • Experience working in agile methodologies, with SAFe being a plus.
  • Ability to map customer needs to solution thinking mode.
  • Strong analytical skills, negotiation, and experience in writing stories and/or technical requirements.
  • Comfortable in presenting and running demos of working software, and speaking to the functionalities from a user's perspective.
  • Background in software development is a plus, as is background in laboratory workflows, healthcare, or biomedical engineering.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory, and Spanish is highly recommended.

Tools and Technologies

  • Experience working with Atlassian suite tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello...).
  • Experience working with Design tools (Figma, Adobe XD...).
  • Experience working with Collaborative tools (MIRO).
