We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of our Sample Workflow Simulation & Optimization tools. As a key liaison between users, stakeholders, and the development team, you will ensure that our simulation tools and emulators meet user needs and align with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- User Liaison: Serve as a key liaison between users/customers and the development team, ensuring efficient and effective communication and information flow within the project and stakeholders.
- Simulation Model Design: Analyze user needs and design appropriate simulation models or emulators to provide the requested insights, including specification, design, and requirement analysis.
- Backlog Management: Manage and prioritize simulation backlog and transfer to the development team.
- Model Validation: Ensure validation of models and new functionalities and coordinate planning and execution of activities.
- Simulation Strategy: Develop and implement simulation strategies that align with the overall Simulation ecosystem roadmap.
- Product Management: Manage all aspects of in-life product management, including addressing customer feedback, requirements, and issues.
- User Insights: Provide insights to stakeholders on simulations/emulation usage and guide user groups, when requested, to maximize the potential of current simulation tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuous improvement of the models, scenarios, and the tool environment to enable effective optimizations & design studies.
- Education: University or higher technical college degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Simulation Experience: Strong understanding of simulation, software, and hardware development processes, and related technologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience managing diverse stakeholder expectations and requirements, ensuring alignment with tools vision and objectives.
- Business Analysis: Experience in gathering business needs and translating them into prioritized backlog that can be transferred and executed by a development team.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies, including writing user stories, managing backlogs, and working closely with development teams.
- Data Analysis: Solid background and professional skills in the areas of data analysis, data visualization, optimization, and statistical modeling.
- Core Lab and Point of Care: Knowledge of Core Lab and Point of Care workflows will be highly appreciated; experience with DDD and techniques such as Event Storming or Feature Mapping will be valued.
- Customer-Centric: Strong customer-centric mindset, with experience in gathering and prioritizing customer feedback.
- Critical Thinking: Critical thinking and high analytical skills. Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems with innovative solutions, detect new opportunities, and move on new use cases when required.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and user experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade to drive decisions.
- Team Player: Solution-oriented person, who is also a good team player.
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
