We are seeking an experienced ICQA Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Inventory Control and Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fulfillment centers.
Key Responsibilities- Support Safety Programs: Collaborate with our safety team to develop and implement safety programs that ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
- Inventory Control and Maintenance: Coordinate inventory control maintenance and random counts to ensure compliance and consistency with our network count strategies.
- Performance Analysis: Review and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize inventory integrity.
- Space Management: Conduct measurements of building space integrity and accuracy, and provide feedback to our operations management team to ensure optimal space utilization.
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of hourly associates in consolidation operations and space, inventory control, and quality assurance projects within our fulfillment centers.
- Capacity Planning: Partner with our capacity planning team to understand risks and plan accordingly to ensure efficient operations.
- Customer Complaints: Review and analyze customer complaints and defect data, and develop action plans to reduce future incidents.
- Performance Appraisal: Appraise the performance of team members, develop, reward, and coach employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and team members' ability to keep pace with our rapid growth, while motivating others and reducing employee turnover.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification/experience in operations management.
- Advanced MS Office Suite User: Advanced user of the MS Office suite, especially Excel.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in the local language and English, both spoken and written.
- People Management Experience: Relevant experience in people management.
- Influencing Stakeholders: Proven ability to influence peers or stakeholders in varying levels of seniority within the organization.
- Initiative and Results-Oriented: Ability to take initiative and produce results, while multi-tasking and prioritizing in a complex environment.
- Data Analysis and Inventory Optimization: Relevant experience in performing data analysis and inventory topography optimization.
- Lean and Six Sigma: Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques.
