Your Day-to-Day

As a Mobile Engineer Manager at Wizeline, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and improving team performance, delegating tasks, and providing career development feedback
  • Leading technical conversations and strategic planning
  • Driving the execution of important projects
  • Contributing to building a world-class news consumption experience
  • Partnering with product teams to manage scope and deliverables, focusing on high-impact projects

Must-Have Skills

  • Expertise in either Android or iOS native mobile development
  • Strong hands-on experience with Swift and/or latest tech, Jetpack, Kotlin
  • Familiarity with data structures, system design, and design patterns
  • Proficiency in API design, MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Full-stack background with familiarity in cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
  • Strong experience in working directly with clients
  • Background in journalism is advantageous
