About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional HR Business Partner to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting our EMEA region and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale our regional HR team, providing strategic guidance and direction to ensure the delivery of precise and compliant HR operations.
  • Develop and implement HR processes and initiatives that drive high-performing teams, including talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding, culture, and engagement.
  • Partner with senior managers across the business to drive performance management, organizational design, employee engagement, rewards, and workforce planning.
  • Coach and advise people managers on employee relations issues, providing guidance on employment law and best practices.
  • Establish a trusted partnership with the business, driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and designing new policies and delivering on business-critical HR-related projects.
  • Present at Canonical events to articulate our HR practices and contribute to the development of our HR function.

Requirements

  • Exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
  • HR experience leading initiatives across regions within a technology business.
  • People management experience, with a proven ability to lead and execute.
  • Business partnering experience with senior stakeholders, with a strong understanding of employment law and HR practices.
  • Ability to leverage data to make informed decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Fluent in business English (written and spoken).
  • Self-motivated, organized, accurate, confident, authentic, results-oriented, open-minded, enthusiastic, and energetic.
