Amazon Shipping is revolutionizing the pick-up sector, providing Amazon's logistics and transportation services as a product for Sellers.

We are assembling a team to expand Amazon Shipping in Spain.

We are seeking an analytical, technically proficient, innovative, hands-on, and customer-focused Area Manager who can foster innovation and execution within transportation networks.

As a vital member of the Amazon Shipping team, you will be tasked with optimizing the transportation and delivery network in alignment with the strategic network plan.


This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a pioneering team and initiative at the beginning of its journey.

You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and implementing a Collections Network that surpasses our customers' expectations.


This position is field-based in the Madrid region and may require travel to various sites, necessitating a willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operational performance; responsible for identifying improvement opportunities across various KPIs and multiple locations.
  • Oversee daily and weekly metrics and performance reporting.
  • Take ownership of the supply chain; identify issues that could affect our customers and establish effective solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure resilience and business continuity planning to minimize risks to pick-up operations.
  • Collaborate with various teams across Amazon to define, develop, and launch a product that delights our customers.
  • Visit shipper locations to facilitate onboarding into the program.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in data management and performance metric development.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, or distribution environments.
  • Experience in change management or growth settings.
  • Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
