About the Role

Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. - J27 is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and execution in our transportation networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Performance Management: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency across multiple sites and KPIs.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Manage daily and weekly metrics and performance reporting to ensure alignment with strategic network plans.
  • Supply Chain Ownership: Take ownership of the supply chain, identifying defects and establishing robust fixes to mitigate future instances.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Business Continuity Planning: Provide resilience and business continuity planning to minimize risk to pick-up operations.
  • Product Development: Liaise with cross-functional teams to define, build, and deploy products that delight our customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • Logistics Experience: Experience working within logistics, transportation, and related industries.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Management Experience: Experience managing data and developing performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering or Operations Degree: Degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments.
  • Change Management: Experience of change management and growth environments.
  • Lean and Six Sigma: Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
