We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Area Manager to join our Amazon Shipping team in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and execution in transportation networks, optimizing the delivery network to meet strategic plans, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Performance Management: Identify opportunities for improvement across multiple KPIs and sites.
  • Management of daily/weekly metrics and performance reporting.
  • Ownership of the supply chain, identifying defects that impact customers and establishing robust fixes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide resilience and business continuity planning to minimize risk to pick-up operations.
  • Liaise with various teams across Amazon to define, build, and deploy products to delight customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, and related industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Experience managing data and developing performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or related fields degree.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments.
  • Experience in change management/growth environments.
  • Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

This is a regional field-based role located in the Madrid area, with occasional travel to ATS and shipper sites required.
