We are assembling a team to expand Amazon Shipping in Spain.We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically proficient, innovative, and customer-focused Area Manager who can foster innovation and drive execution within transportation networks.
As part of the Amazon Shipping team, your responsibilities will include optimizing the transportation and delivery network in alignment with our strategic objectives.
This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a pioneering initiative.
You will be integral to the core team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a Collections Network that surpasses customer expectations.
This role is field-based in the Madrid region and may involve travel to various sites, necessitating a willingness to travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operational performance; identify strategies to improve multiple KPIs across various locations.
- Oversee daily and weekly metrics along with performance reporting.
- Take ownership of the supply chain; analyze issues affecting customer satisfaction and implement effective solutions.
- Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external partners.
- Ensure business continuity and resilience to mitigate risks in pickup operations.
- Collaborate with diverse teams across Amazon to design, develop, and launch a product that delights our customers.
- Visit shipper locations to facilitate onboarding into the program.
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience in data management and performance metric development.
- Degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, or distribution environments.
- Familiarity with change management and growth environments.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
