About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Delivery Director to lead our EMEA team and drive business growth. As a key member of our Professional Services organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Delivery: Oversee the successful delivery of projects in EMEA, focusing on customer success and business growth.
  2. Team Leadership: Define and establish principles for continuous professional development of project managers, building a high-performing team.
  3. Talent Acquisition: Maintain a robust recruiting pipeline, attracting top talent to support excellence and rapid growth.
  4. Culture and Values: Promote and demonstrate a culture of trust and excellence, cultivating the breadth and depth of our MongoDB values.
  5. Process Improvement: Continuously review existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and making required improvements.
Requirements
  1. University degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Ten years of relevant professional experience in project and/or delivery management.
  3. Effective organizational & interpersonal skills, along with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  4. Demonstrated ability to guide and counsel direct reports, being individual contributors as well as 1st line managers.
  5. Demonstrated experience in collaborating with business owners to determine their needs for addressing their growth and potential.
  6. Demonstrated ability to manage delivery escalations focused on increasing customer and internal stakeholder satisfaction.
  7. Demonstrated ability to maintain and develop effective stakeholder relationships.
  8. Considerable experience with relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Excellent analytical skills with an appreciation for rigor and objectivity.
  10. Familiarity with enterprise-scale customers, project management methodologies and deployment/operational considerations.
  11. At ease operating in a dynamic, fast growing team, able to be self-sufficient with a can-do attitude and ready to make yourself accountable.
