Project Manager for Space Ground Control and Navigation Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a consolidated team in the space sector and take on new challenges. As a Project Manager for Space Ground Control and Navigation Projects, you will be responsible for managing several subcontractors within satellite Ground Control Segment or Navigation Programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contractual setup and workplan definition
  • Managerial and programmatic control: schedule, risks, deliverables, compliance, payments, contractual
  • Technical control: support the engineering teams in the flowdown of technical requirements and technical reviews (design, validation, etc)
  • Organization and witnessing of Project reviews and technical meetings, including progress meetings, formal reviews and audits, with the subcontractors under your responsibility

Requirements

  • Expertise in project management covering systems and HW and/or SW engineering within space or similar domains with management and leadership skills, and at least 5 years of experience
  • Experience on Space Ground Control or Navigation projects and excellent communication oral and written in English
  • Previous experience and knowledge in subcontractor management, knowledge of contractual management and additional languages beyond English
