Junior Systems Engineer for Satellite Navigation Ground Segments

Job Summary

GVM is seeking a highly skilled Junior Systems Engineer to join our Satellite Navigation Ground Segment team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the Galileo Ground Control Segment (GCS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and development of the GCS, including logical and physical architectures
  • Manage requirements and generate engineering documentation
  • Execute technical studies and provide technical support to other GCS teams
  • Interact with clients and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Space System Engineering or related field
  • Experience with model-based methodologies (MBSE) and Linux-based systems
  • Knowledge of valuable supporting technologies, such as Python and Excel
  • Other relevant IT knowledge, including hardware and networks
