Job Summary:

Deimos Space is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our GNSS Unit at our Tres Cantos premises. As a Software Engineer for Navigation Systems, you will play a key role in supporting the development of components for space systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop software for Navigation Satellite purposes
  • Design and develop support tools for software qualification
  • Contribute to software specification, design, development, and validation

Requirements:

  • Recognized degree in engineering (computer science, telecommunication, electrical, aerospace, or similar), physics, or mathematics
  • Different levels of professional experience in relevant domains
  • Programming skills in C/C++
  • Good knowledge of LINUX/UNIX programming environment
  • Knowledge of repositories (CVS, GIT, etc.)
  • Software engineering methods and techniques

Desirable Skills:

  • Programming languages: Python
  • Unified Modelling Language
  • Development methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile-scrum, MBD, etc.)
  • Continuous integration experience

Language Skills:

Good level of English, spoken as well as written

Personal Skills:

  • Ability to integrate in a work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Initiative and rigor, commitment, and reliability in the execution of assigned tasks
