Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst

Summary:

As an Accounts Payable Analyst at Amadeus, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable activities. Your primary responsibility will be to perform day-to-day accounts payable tasks, following IFRS accounting principles. You will be responsible for receiving and verifying invoices, obtaining and checking payments, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approval Process: Receive and verify invoices from Airline Distribution fees, Travel Agencies incentives, and non-fully owned ACOs, ensuring compliance with tax, legal, and audit requirements.
  • Accounting and Payment: Obtain, check, and account for invoices, ensuring they are processed according to Amadeus Corporate Policies and IFRS.
  • Monthly Reconciliation and Control: Analyze and reconcile open items in Accounts Payable and General Ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Accrual Process: Obtain, check, and account for monthly accruals, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assets Accounting: Review and analyze Travel Agency contracts to determine the accounting treatment of Incentive schemes, and review Airline Signing Bonuses to determine the accounting treatment.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and corporate policies.
