Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Legal Product Advisor to join our legal department. Reporting to the Senior Product & Privacy Counsel, you will provide legal expertise across various health-tech initiatives, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations. You will work closely with diverse teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to support product development and implementation strategies. Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills are crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Consultation: Offer proactive legal guidance on a range of issues related to product development and implementation, including regulatory compliance, data protection laws, and health regulations. Project Coordination: Oversee and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely provision of legal support for product launches and updates. Privacy & Data Security: Assist the Privacy Counsels in drafting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new product features or launches. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and deliver effective legal solutions. Risk Assessment: Identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks, collaborating with the Senior Product Counsel to devise corrective action plans. Support internal audits related to product compliance. Ongoing Learning & Research: Stay updated on the evolving legal landscape in EU health, AI, and privacy that impacts product offerings. Share insights and knowledge with the legal team and other relevant stakeholders.Qualifications
Legal Knowledge: 1-3 years of experience in a similar capacity within the tech industry. Strong grasp of regulatory compliance, data protection (particularly GDPR), and health regulations, with the ability to provide proactive legal advice. Project Management Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of legal support for product launches and updates. Communication and Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations. Analytical and Risk Management Skills: Capability to identify compliance vulnerabilities and risks, and collaborate on developing corrective action plans. Commitment to Continuous Learning: Strong interest in staying informed about the evolving legal landscape in the EU, especially in health-tech, AI, and privacy, and effectively communicating these insights to the team.Additional Information
