Role Overview
We are in search of a driven and detail-oriented Legal Product Advisor to enhance our legal team. Reporting directly to the Senior Product & Privacy Counsel, you will deliver legal expertise across various health-tech offerings, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, will be crucial in shaping product development and implementation strategies. Exceptional project and stakeholder management capabilities are vital for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Advisory: Offer proactive legal counsel on diverse matters concerning product development and implementation, focusing on regulatory compliance, data protection laws, and health regulations. Project Coordination: Oversee and manage multiple initiatives concurrently, ensuring prompt provision of legal support for product launches and enhancements. Privacy & Data Compliance: Assist the Privacy Counsels in drafting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new product introductions or features. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and deliver effective legal solutions. Risk Assessment: Identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks, collaborating with the Senior Product Counsel to formulate corrective action plans. Participate in internal audits related to product compliance. Ongoing Education & Research: Stay abreast of the evolving legal landscape in EU health, AI, and privacy that impacts our products. Share insights and knowledge with the legal team and other relevant parties.Qualifications
Legal Proficiency: 1-3 years of experience in a comparable role within the tech industry, with a solid grasp of regulatory compliance, data protection (notably GDPR), and health regulations, enabling you to provide proactive legal guidance. Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely legal support for product launches and updates. Communication and Relationship Management: Outstanding interpersonal skills to foster and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations. Analytical and Risk Management Skills: Capability to identify compliance vulnerabilities and risks, collaborating on the development of corrective action plans. Commitment to Continuous Learning: Strong interest in remaining informed about the evolving legal landscape in the EU, particularly in health-tech, AI, and privacy, and effectively sharing these insights with the team.Additional Information
