Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Software Engineer - React Native to join our Ebury Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to shape and build our first React Native team, crafting a ground-breaking mobile experience with genuine ownership and building Ebury's mobile presence from its foundation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the overall company and Digital goals, contributing to the prosperity of our business.
  • Impact both what we build and how we build it, driving innovation and excellence in mobile app development.
  • Take ownership of our React Native mobile app, ensuring its quality, organization, and automation.
  • Manage and coach a junior developer, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to test hypotheses and deliver new app functionality and experiences that make a difference to customers.
  • Stay up to speed on the latest mobile development practices, tools, and frameworks, driving continuous improvement.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Requirements
  • Proven working experience in software development, Frontend or Mobile.
  • Proven experience working with React.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Quality is essential; we expect your code to be testable and well-covered with unit and integration tests.
  • Experience with Bitrise pipelines for the deployment of services and infrastructure is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance, driven by data and application monitoring.
