Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Engineer to join our Ebury Technology team. As a Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing our mobile applications using React Native. You will work in a small, autonomous product squad alongside Backend Engineers, API Engineers, Product Designers, and Product Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop our mobile applications using React Native
  • Work with industry-standard tools and technologies to craft a ground-breaking mobile experience
  • Collaborate across disciplines to test hypotheses and make a difference to customers through the delivery and iteration of new app functionality and experiences
  • Stay up to speed on the latest mobile development practices, tools, and frameworks
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in software development, Frontend or Mobile
  • Proven experience working with React
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Quality is important to us; we expect your code to be testable and well covered with unit and integration tests
