Mobile Software Engineer - React Native

This newly created position within the Ebury Technology team offers a distinctive opportunity to establish and develop our inaugural React Native team.
As part of an early-stage initiative, you will have the opportunity to design a pioneering mobile experience with true ownership, laying the groundwork for Ebury's mobile presence.
You will utilize industry-standard tools and technologies, helping us define excellence for our mobile applications.
As a Mobile Engineer, you will collaborate within a small, self-sufficient product squad alongside Backend Engineers, API Engineers, Product Designers, and Product Managers.
You will report to an engineering manager who will meet with you weekly for one-on-one sessions, dedicated to supporting your development and growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the overall company and digital objectives. Every task we undertake serves a purpose and contributes to our business success. Instead of focusing on a specific feature, you will have the chance to influence both what we create and how we create it. Take ownership of our React Native mobile application. Mentor and guide a junior developer. Collaborate across various disciplines to test ideas and enhance customer experiences through the delivery and refinement of new app functionalities. Stay updated on the latest mobile development trends, tools, and frameworks. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs. Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience in software development, particularly in Frontend or Mobile. Demonstrated experience working with React. Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting mobile applications to backend services. Strong understanding of version control systems, such as Git. Quality is paramount; we expect your code to be testable and well-covered with unit and integration tests. We utilize Bitrise pipelines for service and infrastructure deployment, and you may occasionally contribute to this. Analyze and optimize UI and application infrastructure code for quality, efficiency, and performance, driven by data and application monitoring.LI-HB1
