About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of operations managers to achieve business objectives
  • Monitoring and maintaining process efficiency
  • Ensuring safety standards are met within the team and across the site
  • Collaborating with other managers to standardize shift processes

A day in the life of an Area Manager will include prioritizing routine team management and daily operational tasks, as well as individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning.

As a key part of the operations team, you will work with colleagues in other teams and external partners to ensure we stay on track to meet our customer demands and targets.

This will involve analyzing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, as well as discussing the operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about leading a team and driving business results.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree)
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language
  • Relevant experience in performing data analysis

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
  • Experience in a logistical working environment
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
