Job Description:

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a good technical background in Cloud. Your main objective will be to open new business opportunities (hunter) in various sectors. You will manage the "end to end" sales process with the purpose of positioning GFT as a strategic partner in our new clients.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Identify new business opportunities for GFT, understand customer requirements, and define a value proposition.
  • Develop sales strategies aligned with the commercial department to attract potential customers.
  • Lead the "end to end" sales process, managing the BID Team effectively to adapt the proposal to customer requirements.
  • Manage the P&L to ensure that all decisions taken are aligned with commercial requirements.
  • Take on the role of Account Manager for new accounts, with direct responsibility for their profitability.
  • Influence customer stakeholders, direct sales meetings, and manage customer expectations to develop long-term relationships for the benefit of the business.
  • Identify key partners for the business with whom to establish an alliance to generate opportunities, provide resources, and reduce risks to enhance the business model.
  • Create an internal network of relationships in GFT, promoting collaboration and leveraging best practices to generate synergies between teams.
  • Together with the Marketing department and SMEs, develop communication actions (events, webinars, social media actions, etc.) to generate leads.

Desired requirements:

  • Proven experience in selling IT solutions and products, opening new customers and retaining existing ones.
  • Ability to understand different technical requirements, especially those related to exponential technologies such as AI, Blockchain, and DLT, Cloud, and data analysis.
  • High results orientation and achievement of sales objectives.

  • High resilience in the face of adverse and difficult situations.
  • Good communication skills and able to make presentations to high-level stakeholders.
