We are seeking a

Technical Sales Lead for Food Ingredients

Your role will involve promoting Food Ingredients to the Food Sector

  • focused on the Spanish market
  • the position is primarily office-based in Madrid, with the option for one day of remote work per week
  • the client is a global distributor of food ingredients

The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing business relationships with current clients while also discovering and pursuing new market opportunities within the food sector in Spain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with industrial food clients in Spain.
  • Technical and commercial expertise in various forms of cereals, including grains, flours, and flakes, is advantageous.
  • Manage relationships with customers and suppliers: Build and sustain strong connections.
  • Portfolio oversight: Identify gaps in the product offerings and explore new opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to gauge supplier and customer requirements, evaluate competitive dynamics, and pinpoint new prospects. Serve as Product Manager for specific product lines and/or suppliers, overseeing relationships and procurement.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Food Technology or Food Chemistry is essential
  • Proficient in resolving technical challenges and a strong enthusiasm for food product innovation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical capabilities
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Highly organized, dependable, and optimistic
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written) is essential
  • A valid driving license is essential
