Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Strategist to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Marketplace Solutions team, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital advertising media plans for clients and large publishers.

About the Role

This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and the ability to work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Product, and Marketing. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing direct campaigns and programmatic deals across the Xandr product suite
  • Partnering with the Marketplace Development team and other buyside teams to respond to buyer inquiries and provide relevant media packages
  • Collaborating with Sales, Product, and Marketing to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to increase investment in our marketplace and revenue for Xandr and our clients
  • Streamlining and evolving operational workflow by optimizing team activities and contributing to tool development that automates processes and increases team impact
  • Capturing product feedback from clients and internal users and distilling it into actionable insights for Product and Engineering teams
  • Providing marketplace reporting for internal and external parties, as needed
  • Acting as the 'source of truth' for understanding the totality of Xandr marketplace supply, including regular updates as we add clients and as their media offerings evolve

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of digital advertising experience
  • Readiness and capability to learn the digital marketing ecosystem
  • Critical thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to make decisions based on clear priorities
  • Proven ability to work within platforms that require multiple and critical inputs
  • Comfort with pulling and manipulating data with MS Office products (Excel)
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with internal and external clients
  • Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes
  • Positive and creative 'can do' attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
