About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Total Rewards Strategist to join our team at Kuehne + Nagel AS. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and managing reward processes in Spain, Malta, and Portugal, ensuring alignment with global standards and executing local implementation plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and Manage Reward Processes: Develop and execute local implementation plans to ensure alignment with global Total Rewards strategies.
  • Primary Contact for Total Rewards: Act as the primary point of contact for Total Rewards-related issues within the local organization, providing first-level support to stakeholders and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Day-to-Day Requests: Capture and address day-to-day requests from the Center of Excellence (COE) related to Total Rewards analysis, job evaluation, international transfer analysis, and STI calculation/calibration.
  • Tax Compliance and Bonus Calculation: Ensure tax compliance within the Share Matching Plan (SMP) and administer the bonus calculation process, managing plan assignments for all employees within the geography.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training, guidance, and expert advice to local HR teams on Total Rewards processes, policies, and compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Market Analysis and Monitoring: Conduct regular analysis and monitoring of local market data to inform and adjust Total Rewards practices accordingly.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Change Management: Coordinate with the Global Total Rewards Partner to effectively roll out changes in the country/countries, supporting local HR in understanding and adapting to new initiatives.
  • Feedback and Insights: Collect feedback from local stakeholders, provide insights to the Global Total Rewards Manager, and recommend adjustments to Total Rewards strategies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in analytical roles in Compensation & Benefits/Total Rewards, Finance, or other related areas in a global organization.
  • Skills: Solid financial background, including an understanding of legal, tax, and employment legislation topics. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and simplify large amounts of data. Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel. Project management and organizational skills. Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
