IT Field Support Manager

CEVA Logistics is seeking a highly skilled IT Field Support Manager to join our team in Madrid, Spain.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned IT professional with expertise in networking and network design to manage and provide insights on strategic initiatives/projects or customer engagement from a technical or expertise perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide insights on strategic initiatives/projects or customer engagement from a technical or expertise perspective
  • Provide insight on related functions and functional policies
  • Ensure that sub-department goals are being met with the highest possible quality
  • Work closely with key business people as well as internal and external suppliers to ensure appropriate and standard solutions are developed and delivered
  • Manage the team and individual contributors, driving the capabilities of the IT team and ensuring proper allocation of resources
  • Apply IT methods, professional knowledge and CEVA standards and practices to complex tasks and situations
  • Coordinate work performed through internal customers/business partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments
  • Optimise and implement different business applications/modules for different IT Clusters or multiple sites
  • Work with Senior leaders to establish goals and operating plans for the department and operate within budget parameters

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Minimum a few years experience in networking/network design
  • ITIL qualification is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of IT processes, client requirements, architecture, solutions, and applications
  • Project management experience and technical skills and know-how of project management and resource management
  • Experience in actively managing internal and external customers and suppliers
