Role Overview

CEVA Logistics is seeking a highly skilled IT Field Support Manager to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and providing insights on strategic initiatives/projects or customer engagement from a technical or expertise perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, participate, test, collaborate, facilitate, optimize, develop, implement, evaluate, plan, and identify strategies for IT projects and customer engagement.
  • Provide insight on related functions and functional policies.
  • Ensure that sub-department goals are being met with the highest possible quality.
  • Work closely with key business people as well as internal and external suppliers to ensure appropriate and standard solutions are developed and delivered.
  • Manage the team and individual contributors, driving the capabilities of the IT team and ensuring proper allocation of resources.
  • Apply IT methods, professional knowledge, and CEVA standards and practices to complex tasks and situations.
  • Coordinate work performed through internal customers/business partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments.
  • Optimize and implement different business applications/modules for different IT Clusters or multiple sites.
  • Work with Senior leaders to establish goals and operating plans for the department and operate within budget parameters.

Requirements

  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of a few years experience in networking/network design.
  • ITIL qualification is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT processes, client requirements, architecture, solutions, and applications.
  • Project management experience and technical skills and know-how of project management and resource management.
  • Experience in actively managing internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Leadership competencies.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Driving license and a car to travel.
