Job Title: Lighting Artist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lighting Artist to join our team of talented technical artists at 2K Global Services. As a Lighting Artist, you will be responsible for building upon the work of other artists, enhancing and supporting their work, and unifying compositions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building a lighting pipeline within the Unreal engine
- Work with lighting and technical artists in multiple locations
- Scene lighting for both in-game and prerendered cinematics
- Shot composition and rendering of key art and marketing shots
- Coordination and collaboration with Cinematic and VFX artists
Requirements:
- 3 years of real-time lighting experience in Games, with an ability to generate final lighting and rendering
- Knowledge of UE4 Sequencer
- Experience as a Lighting Artist on one AAA title
- Knowledge of Unreal's lighting tools, and in particular the Deferred Lighting renderer
- Knowledge of UE Matinee
- Experience developing quality lighting under runtime constraints
- Experience working with a team of artists towards a common goal
