About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Amazon's Marketplace team as a Senior Category Manager, supporting the growth of Consumables categories in Spain and Europe. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving business insights, developing strategic direction, and leading projects to improve Customer and Seller Experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Category Strategy Ownership: Act as the business owner of Consumables category in Spain and projects in Europe, analyzing data trends and developing a complete understanding of KPIs impacting the business.
  2. Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with European Heads of Seller Services to plan and propose innovative initiatives, features, and solutions.
  3. Project Management: Lead a variety of projects to drive growth and improve Customer and Seller Experience across Consumables in Europe, partnering with cross-functional teams to prioritize, inform, and analyze initiatives.
  4. Business Development: Work with direct Selling Partner recruitment teams to identify strategic accounts and improve the customer experience for the category.
Requirements
  1. University degree in an analytical field (engineering, statistics, economics, business administration, etc.)
  2. 5+ years of experience in Consulting, Product Management, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, or Business Intelligence roles with extensive quantitative analysis
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  4. Results orientation and good organization skills, with a high degree of ownership and experience managing multiple priorities
  5. Interest and experience in building and managing projects collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders
  6. Demonstrated experience in data analysis such as customer segmentation and/or behavior
  7. Personal initiative and strong hands-on attitude with a results-driven mentality
Preferred Qualifications
  1. MBA from a top-tier business school
  2. Advanced Excel skills and medium to advanced knowledge of SQL
  3. Core Program and Project Management skills (stakeholder management, planning, auditing...)
