Position Overview

The Instituto de Salud Global de Barcelona's Education & Training Division is in search of a skilled administrative coordinator who will oversee and facilitate various departmental functions. This role encompasses the management of internal schedules, coordination of meetings, processing of financial transactions, and organization of travel and logistics for departmental initiatives.

The administrative coordinator will play a vital role within the Education & Training Division, which is responsible for accredited academic programs, research capacity enhancement, and consultancy services in Global Health education. This division collaborates closely with other sectors within ISGlobal to promote scientific advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute administrative functions related to the Education & Training Division.

Specific Duties

  • Coordinate meetings and events while maintaining departmental calendars, including that of the division director.
  • Handle financial transactions, including reimbursements.
  • Organize travel arrangements for departmental activities.
  • Plan and manage events effectively.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to academic and training activities, including logistics for in-class sessions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3-7 years of experience in a comparable administrative position.
  • A bachelor's degree or relevant professional certification in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in academic or research settings, particularly in global health organizations, is highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

  • Proficiency in purchasing, financial transactions, travel coordination, and event planning.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Google Workspace applications.

Language Proficiency

Employment Conditions

  • Contract duration: 1 year (subject to renewal).
  • Part-time position (50%).
  • Salary classification: Technic II.
